Chronograph Variations is a series of 24 still photographs developed from Reas and Rosner's digital mural project at Miami Beach's New World Center. These works transform architectural elements from the Gehry building and nearby Art Deco structures into visual patterns through repetition and rhythm. Each photograph derives from over a thousand collages created during the Chronograph commission, prior to the development of the generative software that animates the Gehry building's facade. The series reflects the artists' exploration of the interplay between music and architecture.
