Crafted from hand-thrown porcelain, the decorative pattern of Claudia Hart's Nue Morte, reveals a virtual sleeping figure through custom AR software. When viewed with a tablet, the figure appears to lie across one's meal, invoking early technologies like the peephole camera and Zoetrope. The plate’s surface and any food on it are overtaken by AI-generated insects. Double Narcissus, a companion video, juxtaposes this scene with a male figure and the plate, exploring themes of reproduction and cloning.
