Jacob's Turban and Judah's Cuff are inspired by Francisco de Zurbarán’s Jacob and His Twelve Sons series. Korot challenges the historical gender divide between painting and weaving by transforming details like Judah’s cuffs and Jacob’s turban into thread data. She prints, cuts, and weaves without traditional fiber or a loom. Unlike standard loom production, her technique lets her build the surface over time, layering thread like paint, repurposing Golden Age paintings into dynamic woven compositions.
