In Natural: Or Where Are We Allowed To Be, a Black woman navigates a data center filled with her own information, questioning her connection to the space. Inspired by Ingrid Pollard’s Pastoral Interlude, which asserts Black Britons' right to rural spaces, Ọnụọha explores themes of ownership over data and server rooms. She reflects, “In data sets, we appear as silent, eternally wronged subjects, trapped in injustice without individuality. When racism intersects with quantification, it freezes us in place.” This piece is supported by Pavel Ezrohi and Tinuade Oyelowo.
