Oceans Like Us is a series of software-driven animations that depict the ocean as a fractal realm of reflections and projections. This work creates a cosmopolitan view of the sea, blending graceful and fantastical elements. Oceans Like Us: Milkcrate presents a sensual and fetishistic perspective, showcasing painterly kelp, dancing otters, jewel-like coral, and a variety of marine life like whales and octopuses. The custom software enables endless recombinations of textures and characters. The nine-minute segments are titled Kelp, Plankton, and Coral.
